On Friday, Garret and I returned from Seattle. Overall, the job interview was a really positive experience. Now we sit in a place of limbo and await a response. We should know if he got the job or not within this next week. If he does get the job, we are fairly certain that he will accept the offer. It is strange to think how much this will dramatically alter our lives. We are trying not the hypothetically think too much about what this will look like for us. Right now, we wait.
The garden is coming along. Garlic and onions and shooting up, and the first signs of lettuce, spinach and chard are emerging. The broccoli, peppers and tomatoes are doing well inside and will be transplanted outside shortly. (It’s scary to think I might not be here to see out the growing season, but who knows).
Spring term is almost over and I couldn’t be happier. I hate how they can always cram in so much during the last few weeks of school. I am excited for my three and a half weeks off in May. Working, camping, biking, reading, gardening, and making life altering decisions is in store for my break from school.
